A cult, key work of the European sexual liberation movement of the early 1970’s, The Virgin Sperm Dancer was pulished as a special edition of Amesterdam-based sex magazine, Suck. Inside, it tells the vivid story of Joop, a boy who wakes up one morning as a young woman called Joopie, and has one day to enjoy her metamorphosis, embaring on a series of erotic adventures in Amsterdam. This 1972 first edition was designed by Anthon Beeke and William Levy, with all photographs by Ginger Gordon.
